I hope this message finds you well. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to those who have already taken the time to register for the PNGAWA Census. Your support is invaluable.

For those who haven't registered yet, I encourage you to take just a moment to do so. It will take less than a minute, and your participation is crucial. Let's ensure that you and your family are counted and represented.

The Cook Islands Community WA will be hosting their 2nd Pasifika Festival WA on 12th October 2024 and to take place 1-5pm. It is currently planned to take place locally. A formal invitation will be sent to you in due course, but I would like to take this opportunity to extend the invitation early to your community to join.

We are currently opening up the stage with an invitation to all Pacific Island communities to perform and showcase their traditional culture whether it be through dance, song or music. Currently we have participants interested from various Niuean, Samoan, Fijian and Tongan communities. Our aim is also to provide a marketplace for Pacific Island communities to sell their foods, arts, crafts and services and we will be accepting stall applications very soon with a special consideration toward community groups.

Please contact the Highlands Group Executives if any PNG cultural group is interested to take part in this. Alternative, you can register your interest via the website below. 

The Ellenbrook Multicultural Community is another amazing group that I’m also privileged to be a part of as a co-chair and welcome you to join us for a meeting in the short term. We will be hosting a Multicultural Festival on 9 November 2024 at the Charlottes Vineyard Oval, Cnr Everard Avenue and Brookmount Drive, Ellenbrook 1pm-6pm.

The Highlands Group Executives will try to arrange a group stall for the mothers who wish to sell their arts and crafts. If you are a small business owner and wish to book a private stall, you can visit their website above or contact us and we'll help.
